Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Felipo started the match with the kick off. Romulo Bihar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Janpier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Humberto Janpier made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Romulo Bihar sent off a good shot on target. Rene Felipo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Humberto Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huinganco. Nunez Ixidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Bonadona in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Huinganco's zone, Saul Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Ixidor came out of the goal and Saul Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Tab's late challenge caught a Huinganco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Tab helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fernando Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Huinganco's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Bonadona came free, but Nunez Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Urbano Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Huinganco's Romulo Bihar got a free kick in the 41st minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Bonadona to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Dundee United defense, Rene Felipo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Janpier. The Dundee United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Janpier should have stopped the shot. Saul Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Ixidor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Bonadona in the 61st minute of play forced Huinganco's goalkeeper Nunez Ixidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Ixidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Americo Bonadona's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Humberto Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Rene Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Abel Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huinganco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dundee United the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Huinganco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! 96 minutes into the match, Saul Maidana notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Huinganco's Nunez Ixidor. Nunez Ixidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Huinganco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dundee United's performance. The match ended with a win for Dundee United.
