Cieneguilla AFC's Horacio Mino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jocolí. Aquilino Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Rodas having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Jocolí's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Incendio came free, but Benicio Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Rodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Incendio in the 18th minute. When Cieneguilla AFC's Teofilo Incendio in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cieneguilla AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cieneguilla AFC's Pablo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Monte in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Jocolí's Feliciano Soin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Roldan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jocolí reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Incendio in the 41st minute of play forced Jocolí's goalkeeper Benicio Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teofilo Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jocolí's Feliciano Soin got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Aquilino Frasquito got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The wind increased when Santo Rufo made the kick off in the second half. Jocolí's Benicio Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Incendio in the 55th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Jocolí got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Mero. Horacio Mino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Rodas. Jocolí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee gave Joel Oriche a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lino Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benicio Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aquilino Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Roldan made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Casimiro Monte sent off a good shot on target.
