Marcelo Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Ongile, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Alberdi's Tomas Ongile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Hats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Ongile in the 17th minute of play forced BaSf F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Hats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BaSf F.C's Abel Ubarna got a free kick in the 19th minute. Florencio Gaztea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Alberdi booed when BaSf F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Vela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcelo Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cleto Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Hats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Bihar in the 70th minute. Constantino Bihar struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcelo Hats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alberdi. Constantino Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Hats having to interfere. Serafino Txerran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Txerran having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Alberdi's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Gomez came free, but Serafino Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes, Hernan Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BaSf F.C and the Alberdi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, BaSf F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Gomez to maneuver through the defense.
