Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cleto Vela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcelo Hats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Mateo in the 3rd minute of play. Hilario Medardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Marcelo Hats made a huge save. Jeronimo Ipar's late challenge caught a RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Ipar helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes BaSf F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Ipar. Rodrigo Playo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Playo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RIVER PLATE booed when BaSf F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gomez in the 13th minute of play. Cleto Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Octavio Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Gaudencio Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zacarias Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Frederik to maneuver through the defense. BaSf F.C's Hernan Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Mateo in the 30th minute of the match. Arnulfo Gilabert's late challenge caught a BaSf F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. Arnulfo Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Zacarias Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Hats made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Hilario Medardo sent off a good shot on target. Hilario Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Hats having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
53 minutes into the match, BaSf F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Mateo came free, but Marcelo Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to BaSf F.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jeronimo Ipar hit a great ball. Isidro Bermudo, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 65th minute of the match Isidro Bermudo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Hats skillfully saved the ball. Gaudencio Mano struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marcelo Hats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PLATE. 73 minutes into the match, BaSf F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Mateo came free, but Marcelo Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Claus's late challenge caught a RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Sustrai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Vela's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Gomez got free with Octavio Sustrai in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, BaSf F.C's Hernan Gomez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Sustrai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zacarias Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Hats having to interfere.
