Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cecilio Lonzo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After recieving a nice pass, Racing Club's Benicio Chinto tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Carlos Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Lonzo in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Benavídez's Cecilio Lonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Guillem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aaron Guillem was a little too slow when Cecilio Lonzo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Racing Club's Aaron Guillem got control of the ball when Cristobal Pabla tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Aaron Guillem managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Benavídez's Cristobal Pabla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Vinicio Bastiaro came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Benavídez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Bastiaro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cecilio Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benavídez's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute of the match Francisco Laffitte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Guillem showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. Racing Club's Aaron Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Lonzo in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Ioritz got free with Bernardo Urti in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cecilio Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benavídez's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Pabla came free, but Aaron Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Lonzo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Benavídez's Cecilio Lonzo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Cecilio Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benavídez's Cecilio Lonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Benavídez's Cristobal Pabla made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Cecilio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Guillem having to interfere. Bernardo Urti came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Carlos Ioritz. But to his dismay, Carlos Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Benavídez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
