Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benito Espiridion started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With 3 minutes on the clock, Marco Errolan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Candelaria a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Timoteo Otsoa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fortuna's Aaron Francesco. 1-0. Natalio Vasco's late challenge caught a Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. Nemesio Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Lonzo in the 14th minute of play. Nemesio Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Lauro in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fortuna! Aaron Francesco had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Timoteo Otsoa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Txomin got free with Aaron Francesco in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Francesco having to interfere. Ignacio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nemesio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Fortuna's Ignacio Lauro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Placido Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Valente. Candelaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nemesio Valente came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna's Ignacio Lauro. But to his dismay, Ignacio Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ignacio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nemesio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Fortuna were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Orlo to make the kick off. Octavio Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Ignacio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bernardino Orlo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Orlo couldn't finish the play. Aaron Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Txomin in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Txomin in the 69th minute of play forced Fortuna's goalkeeper Aaron Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Bernardino Orlo made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Francesco. Fortuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Marco Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Fortuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Etxahun couldn't finish the play. Ignacio Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Valente having to interfere. A collision led to Fortuna getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Placido Alvarez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Cirilo Lonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Valente came out of the goal and Cirilo Lonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Lauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Valente having to make a save. Ignacio Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nemesio Valente made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ignacio Lauro sent off a good shot on target. Fortuna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
