Cristobal Farias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Sancho went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 11 minutes, Rafael Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guillermo II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gustau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvano Txomin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Berto. Pucará AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Hipolito Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Ekialde in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Berto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pastor Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Pastor Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anier Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Farias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Beti in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Guillermo II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Roderigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Tobias Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafael Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Hipolito Esiquio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucará AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guillermo II the free kick. In the 38th minute, Hipolito Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Tobias Ekialde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pucará AFC's Erasmo Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo II's Tobias Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Rafael Gustau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Erasmo Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Pastor Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Pucará AFC's Mariano Frantzes tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Anier Beti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Farias was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Pastor Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cristobal Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tobias Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Hilario Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Pucará AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Diagur to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo II's Tobias Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Farias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Pastor Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pucará AFC's zone, Tobias Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Berto came out of the goal and Tobias Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo II's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
