Albano Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Marko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SANTA ES TANDIL's Jaime Cesario got a free kick in the 8th minute. Santiago Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Eleder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Marko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ambrosio Mero made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Marko. Sacachispas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Albano Fortun came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SANTA ES TANDIL fans jumped to their feet. In the 35thth minute of the game Ambrosio Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacachispas's Roberto Marko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, SANTA ES TANDIL's goalkeeper Santiago Pirro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Isauro. Abel Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Santiago Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of SANTA ES TANDIL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sacachispas:s goal. The referee gave Sacachispas a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ermegildo Manny, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SANTA ES TANDIL's Santiago Pirro. 1-2. The Sacachispas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SANTA ES TANDIL were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Fortun was the one to do the kick off. Roque Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sacachispas booed when SANTA ES TANDIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Albano Fortun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roberto Marko, passed just outside the right post. If Ambrosio Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Bazkoare in the 80th minute of play forced SANTA ES TANDIL's goalkeeper Santiago Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Isauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Pirro having to make a save. Roque Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abel Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute of the match, Albano Fortun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roberto Marko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 95 minutes, Abel Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacachispas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Bazkoare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The SANTA ES TANDIL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
