After a rather tough play, Genius's Clemente Santo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Genius's Albano Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Santo in the 4th minute of play. If Gabriel Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Clemente Santo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Espigas AFC's Silverio Ponc. Silverio Ponc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Efrain Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Egoi in the 18th minute of play. Genius's Ciriaco Birila managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eustacio Vincent in the 20 minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Efrain Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espigas AFC and the Genius players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, Jesus Egoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silverio Ponc. Jesus Egoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Genius's Albano Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bastian in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Espigas AFC's Silverio Ponc got control of the ball when Jesus Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albano Maju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bastian in the 44th minute of play.

Espigas AFC's Silverio Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Egoi in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Tonio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Maju, 2-1. In the 60th minute Clemente Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Ponc having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Santo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Ponc saved Espigas AFC from getting behind. Jesus Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Ponc having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Genius's goalkeeper Albano Maju had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Bastian. 81 minutes into the game, Genius's Jesus Egoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Ponc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Silverio Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Santo went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Prospero Crispo's late challenge caught a Genius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Crispo helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Crispo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
