Juan Manuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Norberto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atencio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, SS Coneja's Juan Manuelo got control of the ball when Samuel Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SS Coneja getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gilberto Farias hit a great ball. Samuel Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Manuelo having to interfere. Juan Manuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Santo Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Everardo Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Ihazintu in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Ihazintu in the 66th minute of play forced SS Coneja's goalkeeper Juan Manuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Froylan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Manuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Froylan ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Edur got free with Aureliano Rodas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Atencio AFC's Samuel Froylan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Manuelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 played minutes SS Coneja got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Ekaitz. Norberto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Ihazintu in the 92nd minute of the match. When Norberto Ihazintu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Atencio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Ihazintu couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
