Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eloy Salvator took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anibal Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Pereyra having to interfere. Anibal Montel scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Pereyra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Dunixi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Pereyra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Celso Dunixi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Pereyra. Vinará AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Dunixi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 25 minutes, Celso Dunixi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Vinará AFC's Ruben Pereyra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Vinará AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Montel in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half San Lorenzo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Celso Dunixi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Dunixi in the 57th minute of play forced Vinará AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Dunixi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ruben Pereyra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Reynaldo Criston got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Elvio Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinará AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Dunixi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ruben Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Celso Dunixi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Pereyra. Vinará AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Dunixi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. San Lorenzo's Anibal Montel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Celso Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Celso Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Anibal Montel managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Montel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Pereyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
