Honorio Benvide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Aznaro in the 8th minute of the match. The nice shot from Lorenzo Patrido in the 21stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Honorio Benvide had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A collision led to Cambaceres AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lorenzo Patrido hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Llorienzo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Aureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jorge Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Honorio Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Teodosio Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jorge Llorienzo made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Aureo having to interfere. Cambaceres AFC's Cristian Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Llorienzo in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Patrido came free, but Honorio Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cambaceres AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, Cambaceres AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia's zone, Teodosio Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Benvide came out of the goal and Teodosio Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Matro to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Aznaro came free, but Honorio Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lorenzo Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Cambaceres AFC's Teodosio Aznaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Benvide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Feliz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Feliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
