But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Leoiar couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Arotza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Jaen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Americo Leoiar sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Larramendy FC's zone, Benjamin Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Cordara came out of the goal and Benjamin Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Silverio Tartalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Cordara was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Larramendy FC's Rafael Espiridion got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Proyecto X F.C.'s Lázaro Ceandro got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Americo Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Jaen having to interfere. Larramendy FC played a much better game than Proyecto X F.C. and deserved their victory. The Proyecto X F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
