Elpidio Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Maidana having to interfere. Leo Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leo Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Maidana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Elpidio Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Ruben Bilbo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Elias Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinalito FC's protests and gave Elias Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vinalito FC's Elias Cordeiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Rodolfo Arano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, C.D Niüþí's Justo Errando got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sergio Beat was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Roldan got free with Leo Maidana in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th play minute Marcelino Iruinea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Maidana. 1-0. In the 46th minute, Vinalito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elpidio Roldan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Arano made the kick off in the second half. Severiano Ikatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Lonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. C.D Niüþí's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodolfo Arano 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Vinalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D Niüþí the free kick. Leo Maidana came out of the goal and Elpidio Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.D Niüþí's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Rodolfo Arano scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Ikatz, making the score, 1-2. Astor Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C.D Niüþí's zone, Astor Lonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Ikatz came out of the goal and Astor Lonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Ikatz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Astor Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Henry's late challenge caught a C.D Niüþí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Henry helped the player get up and apologised. 91 minutes into the match, C.D Niüþí's German Lluques broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vinalito FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
