Orlando Dominic struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Everardo Gonchan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. 4 minutes into the match, Sunchu's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Ovando came free, but Everardo Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Sunchu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Abalos to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Jago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonatan Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Florencio Sandaili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunchu's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Sandaili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute Ubaldo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Belarmo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Ubaldo Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunchu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Ubaldo Jago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Isauro came out of the goal and Ubaldo Jago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Honorato Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Nemesio Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sunchu's Everardo Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Dominic in the 39th minute of play. Jonatan Isauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Sandaili in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Jago in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Isauro saved Concepción from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Ovando was the one to do the kick off. Gonzalo Omero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Isauro. Concepción's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Honorato Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Florencio Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Isidro Loreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunchu and the Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sunchu getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Isidro Loreto hit a great ball. Arnaldo Urtungo, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonatan Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Sunchu's Florencio Sandaili made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Isauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Sandaili came free, but Jonatan Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Concepción's Jonatan Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Jago in the 89th minute of play. If Paulo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Gonchan having to interfere.
