Jonatan Isauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Ospin in the 4th minute of play. If Honorato Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Dominic struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Teodoro Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción. Primitivo Ospin's late challenge caught a Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Ospin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Alcira AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Juvenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Dominic in the 13th minute. Honorato Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Ovando, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Honorato Ovando came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Ovando couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Primitivo Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcira AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Ospin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Isauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Roldan. Santos Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Paulo Silviano's late challenge caught a Alcira AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Silviano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulo Silviano hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Primitivo Ospin made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Ospin in the 53rd minute of the match. Orlando Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Juvenal having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Primitivo Ospin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 63 minutes into the match, Honorato Ovando notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Alcira AFC's Teodoro Juvenal. Teodoro Juvenal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ladislao Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Alcira AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Elivareo couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Isauro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Ladislao Elivareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonatan Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Ereinotz charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Ereinotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Ereinotz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Orlando Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Dominic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Isauro having to interfere. Concepción were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alcira AFC for a fine match.
