Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barreal's Camilo Cordearo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camilo Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Barreal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnoldo Jakobe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 9 minutes into the game, Gogo Isadore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barreal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepción the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Barreal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Isadore to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Lisandro Guifre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barreal's Nicanor Urtun didn't even have to move. Arnoldo Jakobe might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Urtun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Jakobe ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nicanor Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Urtun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Jakobe in the 30th minute. Pedro Leizarraga struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Albano Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal. If Arnoldo Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Adrio came free, but Nicanor Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Adrio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gogo Isadore came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Barreal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Isadore couldn't finish the play. Camilo Cordearo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Eliseo Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Adrio couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Camilo Cordearo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Albano Cheche to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, Armando Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Urtun having to interfere. Concepción were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Barreal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lisandro Guifre took the corner. Eliseo Adrio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
