Amado Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Frisco in the 13th minute of play. If Diego Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Cerrito FC's Diego Jerico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Quilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Abar to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tadeo Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Quilino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeo Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Jerico in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Quilino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Amado Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes C.A.PAMPITA FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Lluciano. The C.A.PAMPITA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
