When Zeledon Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benja FC's protests and gave Zeledon Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, one of Benja FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Benja FC. Saverio Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lisandro Macias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Benja FC's Lisandro Macias got control of the ball when Igor Charro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lisandro Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Charro in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cordara to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Bartuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Benvide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Arnaldo Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pablo Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silvio Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rosario AFC booed when Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Charro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lisandro Macias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario AFC. A collision led to Benja FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. David Cordara hit a great ball. If Pablo Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arnaldo Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Lluc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Benvide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Silvio Benvide made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Arnaldo Lluc sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Benvide was a little too slow when Pablo Bartuelo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. With his leg Silvio Benvide managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Benja FC's Arnaldo Lluc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 65 played minutes Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Nel. Gustavo Qwinton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Macias. Benja FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute Rosario AFC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Qwinton went to the cornerflag to take it. Pablo Bartuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Bartuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 79 minutes, Igor Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Rosario AFC's Silvio Benvide got control of the ball when Arnaldo Lluc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Nel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario AFC's zone, Pablo Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Benvide came out of the goal and Pablo Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Benvide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Bartuelo in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Benja FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
