Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benicio Garoa kicked off to start the match. Esquina's Melchor Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Acevedo in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Everardo Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Esquina's Benicio Garoa in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tipán's goalie prevented a goal. After 25 played minutes Tipán got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Oso. Esquina's Benicio Garoa got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Baldovino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Everardo Paulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Remicio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.
The wind increased when Elias Acevedo made the kick off in the second half. Esquina were furious when Angelino Ganix was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esquina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Melchor Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Platon might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Remicio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Platon ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Esquina's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sabino came free, but Melchor Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tipán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Joaquin Baldovino scored to the left of an out of position Dionisio Remicio, making the score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tipán's zone, Joaquin Baldovino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Remicio came out of the goal and Joaquin Baldovino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Paulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Remicio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Elias Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Esquina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tipán.
