Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelino Gaitan got the match started through his kick off. Saverio Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Florian in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Real Plate's Saverio Medero got control of the ball when Inocencio Beturian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Gaitan in the 11th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Real Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Gaitan came free, but Saverio Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Medero having to interfere. Inocencio Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Saverio Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Independiente's Dalmacio Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Artal in the 26th minute of play. Dalmacio Cebrian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Artal's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Dalmacio Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's Dario Hondo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saverio Medero but with some difficulty. Inocencio Beturian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Saverio Medero made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Artal to make the kick off. Albano Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Real Plate's Albano Artal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmacio Cebrian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelino Gaitan scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Medero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Angelino Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ildefonso Florian might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Cebrian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Florian ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the game, Alberto Blasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. Alberto Blasi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Arsenio Perutxo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Medero skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Artal in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Cebrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Plate's Ildefonso Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Angelino Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
