Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Eguzki got the match started through his kick off. Severino Lehen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Cipriano Etxepare got a free kick in the 5th minute. Salvador Santio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizales FC's Bruno Eguzki. But to his dismay, Bruno Eguzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Florentino Asier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Salvador Santio made a huge save. Severino Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Feliu in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cipriano Etxepare hit a great ball. Bruno Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Salvador Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Asier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Salvador Santio made a huge save. After having played for 38 minutes, Jacobo Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Feliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Eguzki in the 42nd minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Salvador Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Salvador Santio made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Bieito to strike the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Quintyn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Silvano Cibran's late challenge caught a Carrizales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Cibran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Silvano Cibran hit a great ball. Bruno Eguzki struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Salvador Santio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizales FC. After 61 minutes, David Duardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrizales FC and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. 65 minutes into the match, Carrizales FC's goalkeeper Severino Lehen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Feliu. Teo Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Carrizales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Independiente booed when Carrizales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carrizales FC's Severino Lehen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizales FC from getting a goal against them. Salvador Santio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Eguzki came free, but Salvador Santio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Florentino Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Primitivo Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Independiente's Segundo Tajo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Carrizales FC booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Santio having to interfere. Independiente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
