Fernan Gabon started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Eneto in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Cristofor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Remedios FC booed when Volcán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Remedios FC's goalkeeper Cristo Cristofor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Remedios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Eneto came free, but Cristo Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Ramone in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Remedios FC's Edgard Ramone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Victor Bernebe fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volcán's protests and gave Victor Bernebe a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Volcán:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Remedios FC:s goal. The referee gave Remedios FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Eudoxio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Volcán's Anastasio Quirce. 1-0. Volcán's Tobias Lano got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Tobias Lano off the ground. A collision led to Volcán getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tobias Lano hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Lázaro Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Iker Eneto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Remedios FC's Cristo Cristofor. Cristo Cristofor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eulalio Cresitobalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Quirce having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Iker Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Ramone to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volcán's goalkeeper Anastasio Quirce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernan Gabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Cristo Cristofor made a huge save. Iker Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristo Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Remedios FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Volcán had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
