Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danilo Timo got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Navarro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Timo came free, but Ladislao Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Navarro FC's German Eneko got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, one of Navarro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Navarro FC. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguilla's zone, Mariano Weather stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Gotzon came out of the goal and Mariano Weather tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruperto Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Barrionuevo in the 32nd minute of play. Ruperto Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Mariano Weather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Emesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Mateo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Navarro FC defense, Danilo Timo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Mateo. The Navarro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Mateo should have stopped the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Barrionuevo was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Amado Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ruperto Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Weather in the 61st minute. Navarro FC's Humberto Buinton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ruperto Gotzon but with some difficulty. Mariano Weather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Weather might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Gotzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Weather ran back to his position shaking his head. If Albino Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Navarro FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cienaguilla.
