A collision led to Partido Menottista getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ceferino Amato hit a great ball. When Ramblones's Adolfo Eron in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramblones's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Oriol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Partido Menottista's Joaquin Guillelmus in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angelino Arnalt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Quirce. Ramblones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Gonzales during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Reynaldo Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Partido Menottista's Joaquin Guillelmus got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 59th minute Isidoro Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Oriol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Isidoro Urbes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Oriol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joaquin Guillelmus took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano Quirce. Luciano Quirce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 71st minute, Adolfo Eron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isidoro Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidoro Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Patricio Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Adolfo Eron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Oriol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Teobaldo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Patricio Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
