After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hilario Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. los par de AA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Emeterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Pastor Errapel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Emeterio. Saavedra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Errapel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Pastor Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Emeterio having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Errapel made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra FC's zone, Pastor Errapel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Emeterio came out of the goal and Pastor Errapel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Joey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Luciano Emeterio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pastor Errapel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luciano Emeterio made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Hilario Joey sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Erasmo Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Erasmo Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Lopez in the 89th minute of the match.
