Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amadeo Laurgain got the match started through his kick off. The attack was good, but when Fernando Salvadore in the 2nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Blas Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Santo Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Ikatz got free with Santo Oto in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Santo Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Leonel Xabat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surisaltana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuizón the free kick. A collision led to Surisaltana getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Leonel Xabat hit a great ball. Amadeo Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Amadeo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Marcelo Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Santo Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Blas Ikatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Laurgain in the 36th minute of play forced Tuizón's goalkeeper Joaquin Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Santo Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Amadeo Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Marcelo Adrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquin Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Surisaltana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Salvadore to strike the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Ireno's late challenge caught a Surisaltana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Ireno helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Romelio having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Blas Ikatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuizón and the Surisaltana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Tuizón got a freekick which was hit by Blas Ikatz. Surisaltana's Marcelo Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amadeo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Surisaltana's Leonel Xabat got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Leonel Xabat off the ground. Santo Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marcelo Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joaquin Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Salvadore in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Ikatz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Oto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Adrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Romelio made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Salvadore in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Oto saved Surisaltana from getting behind. In the 95th match minute, Surisaltana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Cruz to maneuver through the defense. If Fernando Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Surisaltana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Surisaltana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
