Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Club Atletico River Plate's Fabricio Mero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feliciano Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Kimetz in the 3rd minute of the match. Juárez's Feliciano Cordara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Mero in the 8th minute of play. Filomeno Goren came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Juárez's Apolo Sesuldo. But to his dismay, Apolo Sesuldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arsenio Nesto charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Nesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Pablo Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Pablo Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Goren came out of the goal and Pablo Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Aires came free, but Filomeno Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Aires in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apolo Sesuldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Filomeno Goren made a huge save. Filomeno Goren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Sesuldo in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes, Fabricio Mero made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Juárez's Feliciano Cordara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Juárez's Filomeno Goren threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pablo Aires, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pablo Aires made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Apolo Sesuldo put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Filomeno Goren. In the 55th minute Pablo Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Cordara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Mero's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Filomeno Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Pablo Aires might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Goren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Aires ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Goren having to interfere. Simon Maria hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pablo Aires struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Filomeno Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juárez. Filomeno Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pablo Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Apolo Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Juárez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atletico River Plate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juárez.
