The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Salomon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Narciso Berenguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Salomon having to interfere. Leonides Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Berenguer charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Berenguer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes DRILLER FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Berenguer. In the 17th minute, Teo Platon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeo Felo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Quinto. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Averías FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Salomon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cristian Iratze fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Averías FC's protests and gave Cristian Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gaspar Salomon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Acevedo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tadeo Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Felo made a kick off. Gaspar Salomon made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Paolo Acevedo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Averías FC's Gaspar Salomon got control of the ball when Paolo Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Acevedo got free with Gaspar Salomon in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Averías FC booed when DRILLER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position.
