Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignacio Galtero started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Ignacio Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Cuñapirú's Atilano Ostargi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Neron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Cuñapirú:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zaparinqui FC:s goal. Raul Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Ignacio Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Atilano Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Galtero might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Neron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Galtero ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Llorienzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Cuñapirú players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zaparinqui FC were winning 0-1.

Luisito Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cruz in the 51st minute of play. Severino Suarez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Justino Iraunkor fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zaparinqui FC's protests and gave Justino Iraunkor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Justino Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Raul Neron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Zaparinqui FC's Segundo Remigio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atilano Ostargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zaparinqui FC's zone, Atilano Ostargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Neron came out of the goal and Atilano Ostargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ignacio Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cuñapirú manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Zaparinqui FC to win.
