Saturnino Lugo's late challenge caught a Estrella Roja La Paternal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Miranda getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Saturnino Lugo hit a great ball. Miranda's Santo Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Aurken in the 18th minute of play. If Rene Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Estrella Roja La Paternal's Luciano Maxin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Santo Gervaso but with some difficulty. Enzo Ferdinand hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja La Paternal's Isidro Hug got a free kick in the 29th minute. Miranda's Jesus Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Jorrin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Jesus Tonete made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Bartuelo. Estrella Roja La Paternal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Estrella Roja La Paternal's Damaso Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Jorrin in the 39th minute of play. If Jesus Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Gervaso having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Miranda's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aurken came free, but Santo Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Estrella Roja La Paternal's Damaso Bartuelo got control of the ball when Guaberto Jorrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jesus Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
