Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Efrain Polentzi got the match started through his kick off. Igor Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Carlos Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Anaya in the 7th minute of the match. Justo Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Joachim having to interfere. Pedro Joachim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Polentzi's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Pedro Joachim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Atarrabi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Polentzi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Joachim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Green Bow F. C.'s zone, Teo Txurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Iturri came out of the goal and Teo Txurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Anaya scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Iturri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Polentzi in the 31st minute of play forced Godoy Cruz A.T.'s goalkeeper Pedro Joachim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godoy Cruz A.T.'s Filomeno Anaya got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Green Bow F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Igor Otsoko. Aurelio Transito hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
In the 51st minute Efrain Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teo Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carlos Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Efrain Polentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Raimundo Hats fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Bow F. C.'s protests and gave Raimundo Hats a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Gabino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Filomeno Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Iturri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carlos Iturri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teo Txurio in the 84th minute. If Filomeno Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
