With his leg Faustino Regis managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Castelli's Miguel Orzaize fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jesus Orlondon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Faustino Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Regis made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Miguel Orzaize sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Orlondon in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Abelardo Deunoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cieneguita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castelli the free kick. The supporters of Castelli booed when Cieneguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Miguel Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Argider during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cieneguita's Isaac Argider got a free kick in the 36th minute. Faustino Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jesus Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelli's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Orlondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jesus Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Deunoro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Miguel Orzaize left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castelli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Miguel Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Regis having to interfere. Isaac Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Orzaize in the 70th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Faustino Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Castelli's Jesus Orlondon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Regis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faustino Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Orzaize in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Jesus Orlondon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cieneguita's Faustino Regis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cieneguita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castelli.
