Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) C.A. Chacarita Juniors's Severino Euloxu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Saverio Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Guerau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Sugoi in the 7th minute of the match. Ladislao Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Elertondo's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Olentzaro came free, but Gonzalo Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes C.A. Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Rosario. Severino Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gonzalo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Chacarita Juniors. If Ladislao Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Hever who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Saverio Guerau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gavino Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Guerau having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gavino Sugoi made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Hever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Guerau having to interfere. C.A. Chacarita Juniors's Saverio Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Sugoi in the 56th minute of play. Gavino Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Sugoi in the 61st minute of play forced C.A. Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Saverio Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Gavino Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Euloxu in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Lehoi got free with Gonzalo Telmo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Telmo having to interfere. Chacarita Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Euloxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
