Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Ganix in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Clemente Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bancalari AFC booed when Batea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Bancalari AFC were awarded a corner. Gonzalo Caetano went to the cornerflag to take it. Faustino Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bancalari AFC's Pablo Jacindo suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ricardo Gomesano fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batea AFC's protests and gave Ricardo Gomesano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Batea AFC's Ricardo Gomesano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Paulo Chumo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Chumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Paulo Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Prospero Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batea AFC's Faustino Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Batea AFC from getting a goal against them. Mariano Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Ruisko having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Abarca got free with Faustino Ruisko in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Clemente Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Batea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Ganix couldn't finish the play. Mariano Reno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Faustino Ruisko made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Mariano Reno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Mariano Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ambrosio Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Reno to make the kick off. Bancalari AFC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Batea AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Caetano took the corner. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Prospero Padro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 61 played minutes Batea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Evarado. If Mariano Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Batea AFC's zone, Paulo Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Ruisko came out of the goal and Paulo Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 3-0 became the score in the 68th minute when Mariano Reno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Bancalari AFC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Maraman. When Mariano Reno came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bancalari AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Reno couldn't finish the play. Bancalari AFC's Mariano Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mariano Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bancalari AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Batea AFC! Mariano Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Ruisko having to interfere. Bancalari AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
