Serafino Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Clemente Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jesus Pacifico fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeros de la Angustia's protests and gave Jesus Pacifico a yellow card for diving instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Caballeros de la Angustia's Jesus Pacifico got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Jesus Pacifico off the ground.
