Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lavaisse's Leopoldo Isadore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paolo Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Filiberto Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durazno's Enzo Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Isadore in the 23rd minute of play. Evelio Ladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Isadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Guillen got free with Evelio Ladio in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filiberto Guillen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evelio Ladio came out and tried to block the shot, but Filiberto Guillen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Ermegildo Goi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Tono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 59th minute Leopoldo Isadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavaisse's Leopoldo Isadore got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Grabiel in the 68th minute of play forced Lavaisse's goalkeeper Evelio Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lavaisse getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ermegildo Goi hit a great ball. Lavaisse's Basilio Iratzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filiberto Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Paolo Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Grabiel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Ladio saved Lavaisse from getting behind. When Basilio Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Lavaisse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. Durazno's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
