Ernesto Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Jakobe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Leonardo Gombal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 6th minute, Omar Piarres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Presebal hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Porvenir FC's Jonatan Fagondo took a good shot, in the 11th minute, which hit the crossbar above Baldomero Eutor's head, and flew over the goal. ABRAXAS F.C's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Porvenir FC. After 12 played minutes ABRAXAS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Estavan. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porvenir FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Gombal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Lucian in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Eutor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldomero Eutor didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Porvenir FC's Omar Piarres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 22nd minute Ernesto Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Porvenir FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Jacindo. In the 26th minute, Porvenir FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernesto Silviano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leonardo Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Silviano in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, ABRAXAS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Lucian came free, but Baldomero Eutor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ABRAXAS F.C's Baldomero Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Piarres in the 33rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, ABRAXAS F.C's Esteve Jakobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Gombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benedicto Quintyn hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Silviano to make the kick off. A collision led to ABRAXAS F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edgardo Salvidor hit a great ball. Omar Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Baldomero Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Piarres in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Eutor saved ABRAXAS F.C from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Jonatan Fagondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porvenir FC and the ABRAXAS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Jakobe in the 70th minute of the match. ABRAXAS F.C's Baldomero Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Piarres in the 78th minute of play. Nunez Lucians short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Baldomero Eutor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd minute Ernesto Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Lucian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Eutor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ernesto Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Jakobe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Gombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Porvenir FC's Gaspar Godoy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaspar Godoy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Porvenir FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaspar Godoy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ABRAXAS F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porvenir FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
