In the 16th minute Basilio Argenis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Benvide in the 18th minute of play forced Paternal's goalkeeper Carlos Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Machado came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Colipilli FC's Basilio Argenis. But to his dismay, Basilio Argenis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Colipilli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Argenis to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Montay made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Serafin Orlo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Benvide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Machado was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Alonzo Odon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paternal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colipilli FC the free kick. Alonzo Odon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Carlos Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Urti was the one to do the kick off. If Serafin Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Serafin Orlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Montay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 61 played minutes Colipilli FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Berasko. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bernardo Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Bruno Ihazintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paternal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colipilli FC the free kick. A collision led to Paternal getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bruno Ihazintu hit a great ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Mariano Urti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colipilli FC's Vinicio Montay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Juan Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bernardo Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Machado having to interfere. In the 94th minute Mariano Urti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
