In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salo Fubol Club's goalkeeper Miguel Teodor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salo Fubol Club's Miguel Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bautista in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Anibal Ederono from a close distance when the talented Casimiro Emesto managed to make a qualified save. Hornillos's players were relieved. Eriberto Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hornillos's Hugo Caitano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Godofredo Mano, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. If Ramon Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Salo Fubol Club's Miguel Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bautista in the 55th minute of play. Eriberto Inocente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Teodor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramon Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Miguel Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Anibal Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Inocente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Miguel Teodor made a huge save. Salo Fubol Club's Miguel Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bautista in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Guaberto Bautista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Miguel Teodor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guaberto Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Teodor having to interfere. Casimiro Emesto came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Salo Fubol Club's Ramon Laurgain. But to his dismay, Ramon Laurgain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the match was over Hornillos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Salo Fubol Club throughout the match.
