The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Estacion Leonina got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Matia. Fermin Cerilo scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Lop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Llorian hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Cristian Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Min in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Fermin Cerilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Lop was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 34th minute Leonardo Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Min, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Artemio Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cristian Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Cerilo to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Min's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Cristian Lop skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Estacion Leonina's Cristian Lop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Estacion Leonina from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Cieneguita's Leonardo Min nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Lop made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Matias Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Oidor having to interfere. Matias Vasco struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Simon Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estacion Leonina. Cristian Lop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Cerilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Lop. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Cerilo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Vasco in the 77th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Simon Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Matia in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Inocencio Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estacion Leonina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cieneguita's Benjamin Norino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Estacion Leonina. Leonardo Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cristian Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Vasco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Simon Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estacion Leonina. After 92 minutes of play, Estacion Leonina's Inocencio Matia made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Oidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Matia in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cieneguita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
