If Teodosio Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Cerilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Epifanio Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapso's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Nicholas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Aguirre hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Arturo Darien sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and REAL BUENOS AIRES's Julian Jobo didn't even have to move. 31 minutes into the match, Tapso's Epifanio Nicholas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Tapso got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Raebert. In the 38th match minute, REAL BUENOS AIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Filiberto Cerilo fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes Tapso got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Rainerio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Ospetsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
