Celso Poncio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. Alberdi FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 9th minute Sebastian Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Enmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Smith booed when Alberdi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Enmanuel having to interfere. Rosendo Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elias Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberdi FC's Elias Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Endira in the 16th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Gaudencio Baleren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smith and the Alberdi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Gaudencio Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Blas Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Tomás Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smith's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alberdi FC the free kick. Alberdi FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Smith's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesar Blai took the corner. The corner led Alberdi FC's Cesar Blai to fire away a dangerous shot which Blas Quirze despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Blas Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Havier's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Alberdi FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Corderun. Smith's Rosendo Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Endira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberdi FC's Mateo Havier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Quirze. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Havier to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elias Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rosendo Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Berdaitz got free with Elias Enmanuel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Elias Enmanuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Berdaitz. Aaron Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Elias Enmanuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rosendo Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Enmanuel having to interfere. Alberdi FC's Elias Enmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Alberdi FC from getting a goal against them. Blas Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Havier in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 minutes, Jesus Tavio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alberdi FC and the Smith players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberdi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Smith for a fine match.
