Astor Teodor started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Elizardo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Roque Eliazar came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Barcelona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Eliazar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar Arotza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Machado. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. When Barcelona FC's Oscar Arotza in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Daireaux's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Daireaux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Oscar Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Roque Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Machado was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Oscar Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Machado having to interfere. The supporters of Daireaux booed when Barcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daireaux's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daireaux's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
