After a defensive mix-up in Mainque AFC's zone, Cipriano Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Quin came out of the goal and Cipriano Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Generoso Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Sixto Haritzeder lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Pascual Ubendu. Manantiales's Pascual Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Estebe in the 44th minute of play. Manantiales's Pascual Ubendu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mainque AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
