Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciriaco Ferrer got the match started through his kick off. Lucio Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Alonzo Xabier made a huge save. A hard shot 5 in the game by Lucio Ebardo from a close distance when the talented Alonzo Xabier managed to make a qualified save. Malaver Fc's players were relieved. If Lucio Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Ebardo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alonzo Xabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pugliese. Ciriaco Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes in the game, Lucio Ebardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alonzo Xabier having to interfere. When Mariano Telo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pugliese's protests and gave Mariano Telo a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Pugliese got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Telo. Alonzo Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Silvino's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pugliese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Silvino helped the player get up and apologised. Cristo Silvino hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Cristo Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Norberto Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mariano Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Silvino in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Silvino to make the kick off. Malaver Fc's Alonzo Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Ferrer in the 65th minute of play.
