With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Uzuri in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Goren saved Ache y Apile from getting behind. Ache y Apile's Damian Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Mogel in the 39th minute of play. Damian Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Lucian in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Fabian Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñalitos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Adrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Piñalitos AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cipriano Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Goren having to interfere.
