The corner led Pereyra's Inocencio Uhin to fire away a dangerous shot which Roque Erruki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th minute, Claudio Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pereyra booed when LOS MONUMENTALES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marciano Eli fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pereyra's protests and gave Marciano Eli a yellow card for diving instead. Marciano Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Claudio Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LOS MONUMENTALES's Eliseo Ado got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Ovando during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pereyra's Bernardo Ovando got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, one of LOS MONUMENTALES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roque Erruki went to the wrong direction when Inocencio Uhin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 37th minute of the match Inocencio Uhin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Erruki skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to LOS MONUMENTALES getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ulises Gimenez hit a great ball. Evelio Montay hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Pereyra's Inocencio Uhin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Roman Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LOS MONUMENTALES's Ulises Gimenez got a free kick in the 54th minute. LOS MONUMENTALES's Roque Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Chale in the 58th minute of play. Eliseo Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Chale struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Roque Erruki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pereyra. Eliseo Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Musko having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Quexal got free with Roque Erruki in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, LOS MONUMENTALES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, LOS MONUMENTALES's Roque Erruki got control of the ball when Inocencio Uhin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Pereyra failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
