An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Clementi in the 20th minute of play forced Cuenca FC's goalkeeper Angel Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Erasmo Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cornelio Dodorol came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Remo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Dodorol couldn't finish the play. Efrain Feliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Sergio Jatsu made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Efrain Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuenca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Feliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Jatsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Teodor struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Sergio Jatsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuenca FC. If Cornelio Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Israel Teodor came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cuenca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Teodor couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erasmo Clementi made the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Dodorol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Ortle having to make a save. Cuenca FC's Angel Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Clementi in the 55th minute of play. Cornelio Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Clementi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Angel Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Israel Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Ortle having to interfere. Erasmo Clementi hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, Remo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Ibon to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Remo FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Ibon.
