Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Iker Sancho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Yatai's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Sancho came free, but Justino Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Conrao having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Narciso Paz made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Conrao. Independencia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Independencia FC's Haroldo Conrao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Lon in the 11th minute of play. Haroldo Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 33rd minute, Angel Lon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Angel Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Lon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Lon in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Conrao saved Independencia FC from getting behind. Haroldo Conrao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Lon's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independencia FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Conrao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angel Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Sancho's late challenge caught a Yatai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Independencia FC's Iker Sancho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Angel Lon came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Yatai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Lon couldn't finish the play. Narciso Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lucio Gonzo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Haroldo Conrao, a very annoying self made goal in the 86th minute which led to 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Lon in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Conrao saved Independencia FC from getting behind. Haroldo Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Lon in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Independencia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yatai.
